At 58-years-old I have dry, thinning, mature skin that is very sensitive to products. On top of that, I struggle with eczema and hormonal acne. I’ve tried many prescriptions and supplements with limited success!
Tired of hiding under a thick layer of foundation, I was recommended MAX+ LED Light Therapy at Project Skin MD, a revolutionary skin therapy for rebalancing and caring for compromised, aging skin cells.
MAX+ LED’s rainbow of Light outputs and exclusively designed protocols benefit the skin much like a multivitamin; protocols move through multiple LED colours to treat your skin’s specific needs as part of a tailored MAX+ therapy or as a post-treatment add-on. The light has 7 frequencies and is the only LED unit featuring this broad range of customized settings. Depth of penetration is dependent on the wavelengths (nm) that have a direct bearing on the results achieved.
Tissues and cell types in the body all have their own unique light absorption characteristics. They will only absorb light at specific wavelengths and not at others. Hence depending what results we want to achieve depends on what colours we would use!
I came for treatments twice per week for five weeks, for about 30 minutes at a time, with light frequencies tailored to my specific concerns.
For every treatment an aesthetician cleaned my skin, applied a vitamin C serum, and then I lay under the light and relaxed. It was easy to fit into my schedule and a nice break from the stress of my day! The treatment is so relaxing you can even sneak in a cat nap.
Another bonus? No downtime! I was able to jump up and get on with my work day afterwards.
Over five weeks, MAX+ LED Light Therapy completely cleared up the eczema, I had no no more acne breakouts, and I saw overall improvement in tone and texture.
The pictures speak for themselves. I can even go without foundation now since the first time since I don’t know when!
I’m so grateful for this treatment and the boost of confidence it gave me with little to no hassle.
